From the campsite, you have direct access to forest and beach – perfect for peaceful walks or fresh adventures in the green surroundings.

The scenic area around Horsens Fjord is a dream for dogs and their owners, with new paths and experiences waiting just outside your caravan or cabin.

🐕 Dog forest and free play

On-site you’ll find our own fenced dog area of 600 m², where your dog can run free, play, and meet new friends – safely and without a leash.

If you want even more space, the large Stensballe Dog Forest is just a short walk away, with 5 hectares of woodland and open areas to explore.

🏕️ Camping with your dog – easy and comfortable

Dogs are welcome on all pitches and in many of our cabins, so you can always find the setup that suits your family best.

We’ve made it easy to bring your dog – and comfortable for everyone. Dogs must be kept on a leash on the campsite and at the beach, and dog waste bag stations are available by all buildings and dog areas to help keep the site clean.

💛 Respect and consideration

We love dogs – but not everyone does. Please show consideration for other guests and the local wildlife.
If your dog tends to bark, we recommend choosing a pitch in a quieter area so everyone can enjoy their holiday in peace. Our staff is happy to help you find the perfect spot.

🧺 Make your dog feel at home

To help your dog settle in, bring its own bed or blanket and some favourite toys. It helps them feel safe and comfortable – just like home.

Camping with pool
Covered pool area with heated water
A nice covered pool that is heated to at least 27 degrees is just more fun!

Although our pool area is located in Denmark, the water is always at least 27 degrees and bad weather does not exist - the pool area is covered by a large glass roof. There is room for children and adults of all ages here – and you are guaranteed family camping in East Jutland of the highest quality.

Have fun with children in the very child-friendly pool.  Only guests of the campsite have access to the pool.

Right down to Husodde Beach
When you take the family camping in East Jutland, it is perfect to have the beach, water and nature close by.
You have that at Horsens City Camping, which is only 75 meters from the campsite to the water's edge at Husodde beach.

We are GREEN CAMPING!
Since 2020, Horsens City Camping has been certified as Green Camping - this means that when you spend your holiday with us, we do everything we can to live up to the 17 world goals and constantly improve.

When you swim in our pool, it is heated with modern highly efficient heat pumps and by far most of the electricity comes from our own solar cells, which are located on our roofs.

You can look forward every day to stepping into our bathrooms and using our soap, toilet paper and more – over 90% of the products we use are Nordic Ecolabelled.
